This is a compilation of historic photos and a "virtual reconstruction" of the Old Main Building from the campus of Sam Houston State University, Huntsville, Texas. The Old Main Building burned in February of 1982. This project was created for the 125th anniversary of the founding of Sam Houston State University in 2004. Old Main's twin sister still stands on the campus of Texas State University, in San Marcos, Texas.
