Duke’s Nose (Nagphani) Trek | Easy Trek Near Lonavala

Duke’s Nose Trek in Lonavala, one of the most scenic and beginner-friendly treks near Mumbai and Pune. This trek is named after its unique cliff formation which resembles the nose of Duke Wellington.

🛣️ How to Reach Duke’s Nose Trek

From Mumbai: Take a local train to Lonavala Station. From there, take a rickshaw or bus towards Kurvande Village, which is the starting point of the trek (around 5 km).
From Pune: Drive or take a train to Lonavala, then proceed towards Kurvande Village.
By road, you can drive via Mumbai-Pune Expressway and take the exit for Lonavala.
Nearest landmark is INS Shivaji (Naval Base). Parking is available near the village.

Things to note before your trek:
Always start your day trek early in the morning to avoid heat.

Dry fruits/energy bars/snacks (avoid oily food products)
Good trekking shoes
First aid
