I invite you to watch another part of adventures of amazing Hobbies in Southern UK (DAY 10, July 25, 2025).
In this video, you will see parents delivering 13 dragonflies, 5 bats, 6 butterflies and 3 birds. There were more deliveries, but it was not possible to determine what kind of prey parents brought. Both chicks ate.
You will also see a lot of funny situations and a few family meetings as well as tandem feedings.
There will also be little wingers and some chosen cute moments. You will also witness a milestone. One chick tries to self-feed and even takes a dragonfly from Mom, holds it in his/her talons and starts eating it.

Place: The Forestry England South Forest District (Southern UK)
This site has been used by hobbies, successive generations, for at least the last 15 years. This nest is set within a forestry, heathland and bog environment. The main prey items will be birds and dragonflies and some bats.
