In 2020 we originally planned an International Imaging Symposium, combining the celebration of our 30th Company Anniversary together with the renowned 18th International SPECTRALIS Symposium (ISS). Due to the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, we have decided to go virtual – the Heidelberg Engineering Academy proudly presents the first Virtual Imaging Symposium (VIS).

The VIS took place on October 30–31, 2020 focusing on innovations and new insights into Retina, Glaucoma, and Anterior Segment Imaging, as well as Healthcare-IT. It was moderated live from the Print Media Academy stage in Heidelberg, Germany, with an exclusive, international faculty being broadcasted live from around the globe.
