This hit piece, written by Heinz Alisch & Walther Richter, was initially a hit for Carmela Corren on the Ariola label [but not accompanied by Kurt Henkels & his Orchestra].
I prefer this version by the veteran joint-act Sunnies & Cornel Trio, given the additional vocal harmony and accompaniment from Arno "Addy" Flor's Orchestra. Unfortunately, the Telefunken mastering was less than stellar on both this side and the flip - there's blasting distortion present in other transfers, not to mention surface wear [mitigated with water]. This was my attempt at getting a better transfer, but not especially successful...
As far as the singers, they were initially different groups who appeared on numerous post-war records, initially on East German Amiga [almost until the Berlin Wall went up], but also for numerous West German labels. It seems they were merged "contractually" at the behest of Telefunken/Decca [TelDec] A&R, who determined the combined group had a sound suited to Schlager like no other.
They made a good choice, since the combined group's output remained prolific, and the ensemble recorded under their own names, pseudonyms, and even anonymously with many other soloists & backing ensembles. The combined group wasn't always enforced, so the male trio and female quartet sometimes appear separately even in 1960s recordings. While they appeared in the 1967 debut of German color television, they may have gone their separate ways sometime after the 1970s: https://memoryradio.de/memoryforum/vi...
