Jonathan and Fionn Angus are a father-and-son duo from Mountshannon, County Clare, Ireland, who run Fionnathan Productions, a not-for-profit social enterprise. Fionn, who has Down syndrome, is a multi-talented individual excelling as a violinist, filmmaker, interviewer, and educator. Jonathan, a former elementary school teacher with a passion for inclusion, supports Fionn as his business partner and assistant. Together, they aim to change perceptions of ability and promote diversity through music, art, and storytelling.

Fionnathan Productions, named after the duo (Fionn + Jonathan, pronounced “Fear nuthin’”), was established to support Fionn’s passions for music, filmmaking, art, and nature. They operate Ireland’s first government-funded, self-managed support project for someone with a learning disability, with Fionn as the manager and Jonathan as his employee. Their work includes busking (Fionn on violin, Jonathan on guitar), producing films, and conducting over 600 interviews for their “What Do You Love About Your Life?” YouTube channel. They’ve performed at venues like the Roisin Dubh in Galway, lectured at over 30 colleges, and exhibited art in galleries across Ireland, the UK, and New York.
