ABOUT THIS VIDEO:
Quite often, you hear learners of Twi pronounce certain words and phrases just as written. Like any other world language, however, there are phonological conventions to guide speakers of Twi, and ensure smooth, natural flow.
In today's lesson, I tell you about the most natural way of saying the following set of words/phrases. While it may not be wrong to say them as written, you will sound more natural and appear more fluent if you apply the tip in the present lesson.
1. obiara
2. (e)biara
3. biribi
4. biribiara
5. saa ara
6. sei ara
7. pa ara
8. ɔno ara
9. nko ara
10. barima

ABOUT THIS CHANNEL
Learn Twi with my effective Twi language lessons!
Hi, my name is Stephen Awiba, known here as Tikya Yaw (a proud Thursday born :)). I started the LearnAkan project in 2016, aimed at promoting the reading, writing, and speaking of the Akan language around the world. The project, so far, comprises of:
1. the free Twi e-learning website: https://bit.ly/2RpbWvG

4. this YouTube channel.
Here, you will find lessons touching on Twi grammar, Twi vocabulary, Commonly-used Twi phrases, Twi conversational skills, Twi pronunciation skills, as well as general videos about Ghana, the Akan people and their culture.
