In this detailed video tutorial I explained a non contact laser tachometer and describe how to measure rpm of a motor like squirrel cage induction motor three phase induction motor or any type of electric motor or generator or mechanical rotating machine.
I used a single phase induction motor which power is 1 HP (horse power) approx. 746 watts.
Digital tachometer or digital laser tachometer is a device which is measure the revolution per minute (rpm) of any rotating machine without any physical contact.you will know briefly about how to use tachometer in hindi/urdu language.
The meter I used in this video is DT-2235B+ made by DT company china.
