Is RAW Food Cheaper Than Dog Kibble? YES, and Here's How You Do It!

In this video I take you shopping with me for RAW food for my dogs. I show how you can feed your dog a raw diet for CHEAPER than commercial dog kibble.

!! BELL PEPPERS - Any color bell pepper contains the essential vitamins and nutrients that are beneficial to a dog’s health, although the red type is the most nutritious. Red bell peppers are the best to feed to your dog because they contain the highest amounts of vitamins and antioxidants. Peppers are rich in vitamins A, E, B6, and lutein and are great sources of vitamin C and beta-carotene, which are antioxidants important for a dog’s healthy immune system. Beta carotene can be converted into vitamin A in the body and is important for skin, coat, and eye health. Bell peppers can also help to control excessive flatulence in some dogs.

!! CARROTS - Carrots for dogs are a great source of fiber, antioxidants and vitamin A. While everything in carrots is great, vitamin A is crucial in maintaining overall health, for both dogs and humans. For dogs, vitamin A is essential for bone growth, reproduction, cellular differentiation and a good immune response. That’s according to the study “Safety evaluation of vitamin A in growing dogs,” published in the British Journal of Nutrition.

Carrots are also great for keeping a dog’s eyes healthy and his vision sharp. According to the Dogster article, 7 Foods That Will Naturally Support Your Dog’s Vision, when your dog eats carrots, he’s “getting a serious boost of beta-carotene, potassium, niacin, calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, and vitamins A, B, C, D, E and K. Better yet, carrots are loaded with lycopene and lutein — essential phytonutrients that may help protect eyes from free-radical damage and UVB radiation.”
