This video describes an approach to developing a battery cycling application based on bespoke linear power electronics (which is not described) and an NI sb-RIO and Labview using a quite standard schema of three pieces of software (User interface, real-time PC software and FPGA firmware). The control aspect is just a set of PI controllers.
