While most people rush to find shelter the moment heavy rain begins to fall, there is one man who runs in the opposite direction. As the sky turns dark, thunder echoes, and raindrops hit the ground like tiny bullets, he grabs his umbrella, his soaked jacket, and bags of food — because he knows hundreds of hungry stray cats are waiting for him.

For these forgotten souls of the streets, rain is more than just water falling from the sky. It is fear, cold, hunger, and helplessness. Their cardboard shelters melt away, their tiny paws tremble, and their eyes desperately search for the one person who has never failed them.

And then, through the storm, they see him.

A man walking slowly under the heavy rain, completely drenched, yet smiling with a heart full of love. The moment the cats hear his voice, they run out from under cars, bushes, trees, and broken staircases. Even the rain cannot wash away the joy in their eyes.

He kneels down on the muddy ground, ignoring the cold water soaking through his clothes, and gently places food in front of each hungry cat — one by one. He wipes the raindrops off their faces with his hands. He speaks to them softly, telling them that they are not alone, that someone in this world cares.

To everyone else, he is just a man feeding cats in the rain.

But to the cats of this city,
he is a hero, a father, a friend, and the warm shelter they never had.

Because love does not choose sunny days.
