After a huge disaster, a group of survivors finds safety in the Rocky Mountains, where the high altitude keeps them safe from dangerous, insect-like monsters that can't live above 8,000 feet. This safe place gives them some peace, even though it's not completely secure. Their peace is disrupted when one person has to go down to the lower, dangerous areas to get important supplies. Each step is filled with fear of the deadly creatures, and they rely on their bravery and determination to survive.
