The recent floods that affected several provinces, including KwaZulu-Natal, Eastern Cape, Free State, Mpumalanga, Limpopo, North-West, and Gauteng, have been officially declared a national disaster. The severe weather patterns from mid to late February left widespread destruction. Dr. Elias Sithole, Head of National Disaster Management, has more.
