In a high-stakes courtroom drama unfolding in the Delhi High Court, Karisma Kapoor's children, Samaira and Kiaan, are battling for their share of their late father Sunjay Kapur's massive Rs 30,000 crore estate. The industrialist, who tragically died on June 12, 2025, during a polo match in the UK, left behind a fortune now at the center of allegations of a forged will. Represented by senior advocate Mahesh Jethmalani, the siblings claim their stepmother, Priya Sachdev Kapur, fabricated the document to exclude them entirely, despite their close bond with Sunjay. Jethmalani, speaking to Arnab Goswami, slams the suspicious circumstances surrounding the unregistered will, which was hastily read at the Taj Hotel without sharing copies. Priya's counsel counters, revealing the children already received Rs 1,900 crore from the family trust and questioning Karisma's absence following their bitter 2016 divorce. Sunjay's mother, Rani Kapur, also joins the fray, alleging she was kept in the dark and left with nothing. The court has ordered Priya to disclose all assets and issued notices, with the next hearing scheduled for October 9.
