We've launched a new How-to demo series on IBM Planning Analytics. In this first video, Lee Lazarow, Revelwood's FP&A Technology Director, shows you the first step in building a cube - creating dimensions.
You'll see how easy it is to use Planning Analytics built-in functionality and wizards to create three dimensions for a standard sales cube: time, sales rep and sales measurement (sales and commissions). Planning Analytics' automatically creates hierarchy structures and attributes for you. You'll also learn how to build a dimension using a file, and how to build one manually.
Our next two videos in this series will address building a cube, and creating a dashboard.
