Trolling Lake Michigan out of Whitehall MI, with my wife on July 29th. We had a good start to the morning with a few bites but didn’t manage to get all of them. It was Britney’s first steelhead ever and she was super stoked about it! Then we had a run in with quite the specimen. He didn’t want to turn his boat and thought everyone else needed to bow to him. Even made death threats against me. It is illegal to make death threats against anyone and I collude have called the cops on him. But we pulled lines and left afterwards because it’s not worth it and I had my wife with me. Fishing is never that important or worth someone’s life over it. Crazy thing is we were in 250ft of water and there was literally no one around us. Tight lines and remember to not be a RICHARD!
