Trains at Finsbury Park | 28/10/2023

On 28th October 2023, I trainspotted at Finsbury Park.

Finsbury Park station is in North London. The station serves many rail operators like Great Northern, Thameslink and London Underground trains. The London Underground lines that go there are the Piccadilly and Victoria lines. I didn’t record the tube though. I only recorded most of the national rail services there. In this video there are, Great Northern, Thameslink, LNER, LUMO and Grand Central services. Unfortunately, I didn’t manage to record Hull Trains. Some trains were delayed approximately 30 minutes but it was still alright to record the trains. There is a good amount of trains at Finsbury Park. It was raining a bit at the time of recording. Classic Britain.

It is quite difficult to record trains at this station. The station design is not good for spotting trains. A lot of fences and bushes block the view of the trains. I couldn’t get numbers of quite a lot of trains so my apologies for that. I couldn’t record properly. I only recorded the trains at Platforms 1 and 2 properly. I was standing on Platforms 1 and 2. Not an easy station for recording trains.

I personally think that Finsbury Park is an awful place to do trainspotting. I think that because the station design makes it much more harder to record the trains and a lot of fences and bushes block. Also some platforms have super big signs that block a little bit. Good amount of trains though. I do not recommend trainspotting at Finsbury Park. My apologies for how I recorded and the length of the video. I didn’t enjoy spotting trains here. Remember, this is my point of view.
