I recently bought this vintage steel frame cruiser bike from an antique shop, for just $20.00! I'm going to install a set of 26 inch cruiser wheels from a 1957 J. C. Higgins bike on this one. While they are in good physical shape, they definitely need a deep cleaning. Once that is done, I'm installing a set of Charge (Innova) whitewall tires on them. The funny part is, the tires cost $21 each, just a bit more than twice the purchase price of the bike. But I really think a vintage cruiser bike deserves whitewalls.
