4K - Riding the Rail Runner! A Unique Front View "Cabride" from Belen to Albuquerque, NM

Presented in 4K! On the final day of one of my trips to New Mexico, I woke up extra early and managed to squeeze in a ride on the New Mexico Rail Runner. Previously, I have been on the ride from Albuquerque up north to Santa Fe, but never on the ride from Belen to Albuquerque.
I rode in Bombardier cabcar NMRX #1108, in the first row behind the engineer cabin. Rail Runner is gracious enough to allow anyone to sit in this section, and also offers the "railfan window" something that most railroads restrict access to. While the first few crossings in Belen are quiet zones, the non stop K5LA action starts around the 2:30 mark.
