The circle of 5ths gets its name from the perfect 5th intervals between each key: C-G-D-A and so on. Going counterclockwise around the circle each key is a 4th apart: C-F-Bb-Eb etc. You MUST MEMORIZE the number of sharps or flats in each key and the relative minor.
