Bullmastiff - Remember This!

As time has gone on and my Bullmastiff Tua has gotten older, this channel has evolved. But I want everyone to remember how it started! I feel that those early videos are the most important.

Fearless at work, laid back at home. The Bullmastiff is a large, muscular guarding dog breed who pursued and held poachers in England. Bullmastiffs are the result of Bulldog and Mastiff crosses. The Bullmastiff isn't as large as his cousin the Mastiff. Standing as high as 27 inches at the shoulder and weighing between 100 and 130 pounds(according to breed standards), this is still a whole lot of dog. After the first impression made by the Bullmastiff's size, it is the large, broad head that conveys the breed's essence. The dark eyes, high set V-shaped ears, and broad, deep muzzle all combine to present the intelligence, alertness, and confidence that make the Bullmastiff a world class protector and family companion.
Coats come in red, fawn, or brindle. These are reliable dogs, but as with any large guarding dog, owners must begin training and socialization early, while the puppy is still small enough to control.

This channel was created to track the life of our Bullmastiff Tua.

Videos will be posted to show not only his physical growth, but his behavioral changes, obedience level changes, and our overall experience with the Bullmastiff breed.

This will hopefully help anyone interested in the Bullmastiff breed by showing what to expect at very specific times all throughout a Bullmastiff's life!

Although this will be more specifically about the Bullmastiff breed, the videos should give a very general idea about what to expect at certain ages of many different dog breeds.
