Transferring Oncidium types (intergenerics) and Dendrobiums to water culture.
This is step one of their transfer.
1. Soak plant well so roots will relax and media will come off easier.
2. I find they transfer easier if they have something to provide humidity, I use decorative glass pebbles.
3. I let them dry out after I unpot to allow and breaks in the roots to heal.
4. Introduce the water slowly
