Leader Of Opposition and Cong MP Rahul Gandhi said Poonch witnessed massive tragedy due to recent Pak shelling in which 14 people died in the district including four children. He also visited Christ school in Poonch and met students affected by Pakistan's cross-border shelling. Interacting with the students, he said: “You are extremely brave children, and we are very proud of you. You've faced a bit of danger and a frightening situation, but don't worry; everything will return to normal.” He also visited Gurudwara and met with families affected by recent Pak shelling.
