Join me on a festive Tiki adventure at the legendary Kowloon in Saugus, MA—an iconic Polynesian pop landmark with a holiday twist! This visit was part of our TikiMeet.com gatherings, originally planned for Pearl Harbor Day (12/7/24). Although intended as an in-person meet, it still became an unforgettable experience that captured the essence of the season and the spirit of this beloved institution.

The Kowloon’s extravagant Christmas décor is simply breathtaking, transforming the already vibrant Tiki atmosphere into a wonderland of lights, ornaments, and holiday cheer. It’s heartening to see a place honor Christmas so beautifully, especially as a Christian who cherishes the biblical significance of Christ’s birth—truly the greatest gift given to humankind.

My weekend also included a stay at the Red Roof Inn next door and a night at Kowloon Komedy featuring comedian headliner Dave Russo, with Mike McCarthy, Joe Espinola, and Don Zollo. Their show brought laughter and good times, proving that even when plans shift, the fun doesn’t have to stop. I even got to meet Santa—twice—and captured a complete Christmas decoration tour inside the Kowloon, preserving it as a time capsule of a moment whose future is uncertain in the years to come.
