This no-knead baguette is everything I want in homemade bread: crackly on the outside, airy on the inside, and shaped into a stunning wheat stalk that looks like it came from a bakery. No mixer, no complicated steps, just a simple method that delivers incredible results every time. Ingredients:
Water - 1 cup (220 ml)
Fresh yeast - ¾ tsp. (3 g) or dry yeast - ½ tsp. (2 g)
Bread flour - 2 ½ cups (320 g)
Salt - 1 tsp. (6 g)
The crust is crisp and flaky. The inside is soft and pillowy. Just add a smear of butter, and you'll never look back.
