From navigating brambles and woodland cover to spotting deer tucked away in the shadows, this outing shows just how effective thermal equipment can be when the light and conditions make traditional glass difficult. Along the way, we talk about the ethical side of deer management – why targeting the right animals helps maintain a healthy balance, and how careful culling prevents numbers from exploding during the harder summer stalking months.
