60 year old street vendor and neighbors surprised to see me cleaning the sidewalk myself.

Today, I traveled alone by motorbike for 60km to clean up the street. I had prepared all the necessary tools such as shovels, hoes and garbage bags. Weeds were growing wildly, and all kinds of garbage were flying in the wind and getting caught in the roots of trees. People usually walked by as if they didn't see me, but today I decided that I couldn't let this scene last any longer. While I was cleaning up, an old lady on a bicycle selling goods, over 60 years old, saw me and came to ask, then the old lady next door and a man nearby also came closer to see the situation. However, everyone was very surprised when I said that today I was the only one cleaning the sidewalk. Everyone was so surprised that they exclaimed "Oh my god", looked at me and asked: "Huh, you're doing it alone?". I smiled: "Yes, I saw it was so dirty that I came to clean up the neighborhood's sidewalk to make it clean and beautiful." A neighbor who was walking for exercise also stopped, eyes wide open: "Nowadays, it's rare for people to volunteer to do these things, you're so good!" I didn't need anyone to compliment me, I was happy because at least after today, that sidewalk was cleaner. Not only did she ask about me, but the old neighbor also reminded me to take care of my health and not to overwork myself so that I could do more good things. And perhaps, the small thing I did today will make some others think again - that there's no need to wait for someone else to clean up, when you can start yourself.
