What began as a last-minute solo trip quickly turned into an unexpected group adventure, six of us all finding our way to Rio de Janeiro. I never really thought this trip would come together, but somehow it did. Brazil has played a huge part in shaping my (Joell) music taste over the last 12 years. Discovering Soulection and Sango opened my ears to sounds from all around the world. That love for global music and connection is what ultimately led us here. This journey became more than travel, it was about friendship, culture, and experiencing the heartbeat of Rio up close. From the people to the colors, the energy, and the music, we tried to capture it all using phones, cameras, and drones — documenting the beauty and soul of Brazil in every way we could.
