The day before, add 2 cups of water to 1 cup of dried white northern beans. Let them soak overnight.
The next day, drain the beans and pour them into a Dutch oven. Pour in 2 cups of beef stock and let simmer for 2 hours. Once done, drain again and pour into a casserole dish. Add 1/2 of a chopped onion, 2 slices of chopped bacon, 1/8 cup of brown sugar, 1 teaspoon of salt, 1/8 teaspoon of mustard, 1/8 teaspoon of pepper, 1 teaspoon of worcestershire sauce, 1/4 cup of ketchup and 1 1/2 tablespoons of molasses. Stir together and bake for 90 minutes.
