Palaemon is a member of phylum Arthropoda. It is omnivorous and noctural animal. Prawn feeds mainly on algae, moss, and other aquatic weeds. It occassionaly feed on small aquatic animals such as insects, snales, ted-poles, fish and debris of the bottom. It feeds at night, being more active at dawn and dark than any other time.
The enzyzmatic digestive secretion of hepatatopancreas flows through the two hepatopancreatic drug into stomach and this flow contain enzymes which digest food material.
