Since there’s a lot of comments about lip syncing… I think it’s important to point out how wacky this venues sound system was.
This venue’s sound focus point was weird. If you were in the front 10-20% of the dance floor you couldn’t hear the mics at all and the music was coming from behind you. Mics we’re on though, but we’re directed to the back 60% of the venue.
Think of an opera stage with a raised 2nd floor seating area.
Speakers (especially the mic ones) pointing twards seats like 30ft behind you. And you were basically on the front part of the actual stage close to where the “curtains” would be. By far not an ideal sound setup.
