Letting go is one of the bravest, quietest acts a human being can perform. It isn’t about forgetting, dismissing, or pretending something never mattered. It is about accepting that some chapters end without permission and some people leave without explanation.
It asks you to unclench your heart, even when it aches, and trust that what is meant to stay will never need to be held hostage. You carry the lessons forward, not the weight.
And in that release, something rare happens, you don’t become empty, you become free.
So here I am, acknowledging and accepting the parts of me I lost along the way.
