Riding the underwater bullet train in Japan

The Shinkansen goes under open ocean to connect Japan's main island (Honshu) to the northern island (Hokkaido), and I rode that underwater train! "Underwater" is a bit misleading as the train runs in a tunnel bored beneath the sea bed (The Seikan Tunnel), but the point still stands.
