We spend 6 days in the red soil country of the North Queensland Goldfields prospecting for gold, searching for 'old timer's' relics and fossicking for gemstone agate. Featured relic finds include a Royal Navy Officer's jacket button dating from the Victorian era, and a 19th Century brass saddler's needle. On the final day, a bit of 'gully raking' and careful detecting with the Garrett AT Gold and AT Pro machines produces a lovely little sub-gram gold nugget.
