I was already going to Kenya to visit my friend, Kelis and see her new farm land out there.. Of course I was going to bring cameras anyway so I figured it was a great opportunity to direct and shoot my first documentary style short film! I have travelled and worked with my friend for nearly 15 years now and I have even documented much of these travels but going into this project with much more intention and clarity just brings me so much joy!
At the time of this posting, I still have a little time to refine this setup a bit, by the way, I found my SmallRig matte box ;-) but check out this video of me building my cinema rig.
