Fresh Snowfall Disrupts Life in Anantnag | NH-44 Closed, Mughal & Sinthan Roads Shut | News18 Urdu

Fresh snowfall has been reported in the plains of Anantnag district, while the upper reaches have received heavy snowfall. The district administration and police are fully prepared and have put control measures in place to deal with any inconvenience to the public.
Meanwhile, the Srinagar–Jammu National Highway (NH-44) has been closed due to fresh snowfall in and around the Navyug Tunnel. No vehicular movement is allowed from Jammu to Srinagar or vice versa until further notice.
In addition, the Mughal Road, SSG Road, and Sinthan Road remain closed. Authorities have advised people to avoid travel on these routes until they are completely restored and officially declared safe for traffic.
