Lammy the cat fights for my attention while writing a song that may never be competed called Zephyrus (Ζέφυρος), the Greek god and personification of the west wind, considered the gentlest of the four cardinal winds in ancient Greek mythology. The west wind, known as Zephyr, was associated with spring, gentle breezes, and the arrival of new life, often symbolizing renewal and serenity. In mythology, Zephyrus was depicted as a winged god, sometimes bringing flowers or carrying warmth and peace to the earth.
Zephyrus was also known for his romantic associations. In one tale, he fell in love with the nymph Chloris, and together they became the divine couple representing spring (with Chloris later being identified with Flora, the Roman goddess of flowers). Their union further cemented Zephyrus as a symbol of the gentle, loving forces of nature, as his breezes brought blossoms and life.
In a broader sense, the word "zephyr" came to represent any soft and light wind, particularly one that carries a feeling of tranquility and pleasantness, perfectly fitting your musical composition's blissful and calming qualities.
