Fairway Bunker Shots are easy and different from a greenside bunker shot.
These are the things to think about and shot technique to follow, club selections, the ball position to look at in order to play a successful recovery shot from a fairway bunker.
Getting out of a fairway bunker is simple. Just like a Pitch Shot from sand. Golf is simple.
The key to the fairway bunker shot swing is your swing thought. Your swing thought should be to hit the ball without touching one single grain of sand. With the right club selection, catching it a little thin will still yield a very nice result. Being this precise with your contact takes a bit of practice, so keep watching so you know how to develop this valuable skill.
