Pro vs. Novice Perspective: Is a Factory Edition worth the Extra Money?

The 2025 KTM 250SXF Factory Edition retails for $11,599 and has a list of upgrades over the standard 250SXF model. However, it is no different than the 2024 250SXF Factory Edition. Last year, this bike debuted the new, more compliant chromoly steel frame, the new linkage, and suspension settings. Plus, it was the first time we saw a WiFi-connecting smartphone app that allows for both ECU mapping modifications (throttle response and engine braking) and LitPro data analytics. MXA's Josh Mosiman and Josh Holley have collectively ridden nine hours on our new 250SXF Factory Edition model so far, and in this video, they debate which parts are worth the upgrade and which ones aren't.
