Today we dive deep into the topic of edge alignment complete with some maths and formulae just to show exactly how important edge alignment is. One of the basic tenants of good form, edge alignment is necessary for proper cutting, but how do you get good edge alignment and how do you know if your edge alignment is correct? We'll discuss all of those topics as well as why I think tachikaze gets too much recognition as a marker of good edge alignment.
