Paul's last words never fail to make me cry every time I read them. If today the Lord came for me, I highly doubt that I could affirm with such certainty: "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith."
Paul's life certainly left us an example that seems difficult to achieve, but at the end of the day his testimony is nothing more than the demonstration of what God can do through a life that surrenders in order to be used by Him, no matter how sinful one may have been before coming to Christ.
Thank God for Paul's testimony, and for showing us "this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory." Colossians 1:27
