Making Christmas cocktails for the first time.. | PINTEREST vs REALITY

I fell down a Pinterest rabbit hole one night and stumbled upon the most beautiful white chocolate peppermint martini recipe... and today I'm trying to re-create it! Along with four other Christmas-themed cocktails that look equal parts beautiful and delicious. This video is an example of Pinterest vs. Reality, and includes some funny fails. I had so much fun making these drinks, and learning a thing or two about bartending. (Still can't figure out what that little strainer thing is for though?)

Can I actually make them look like their Pinterest inspo? And do they taste as good as they look? Let's find out!

1. White chocolate peppermint martini - I completely changed this recipe so here is my version :) (serves 1)
Melt white chocolate chips in a bowl in the microwave.
Rim the glass with melted white chocolate, then dip in crushed candy cane. Put glass in the fridge while you mix up the cocktail.
In a cocktail shaker, add ice, 2 oz Smirnoff peppermint vodka, 2 oz whole milk, 1 heaping tbsp melted white chocolate, and a small dash of vanilla (1/16 tsp).
Shake it up & strain into your glass.
Add a dollop of whipped cream and crushed candy cane for garnish.
Enjoy! :)
