I am enjoying Pig Feet,Cabbage, FrIed Corn and Corn Bread Hope you enjoy !.

Fried Corn Bread Recipe :

1. Depending on the amount of bread you want to makes that amount of corn meal I only used one cup of corn meal and made about 4 bread patties
2.1 cup of ...SELF RISING CORN MEAL .. I used a brand called SUNFLOWER but any Brand will be fine.
3.Mix corn meal with very cold water the consistency should be a little thick like oatmeal not thin so add water slowly.
4.Add 1 Teaspoon of cooking oil and 1 Egg
Use a skillet to fry in I use a Cast Iron Skillet you can Use any kind put a little cooking oil in the skillet, barely coating surface ,make sure the oil is at least medium hot before pouring the batter into skillet . fry oil golden brow and then flip over on other side and fry oil done.You may have to flip several times to make sure batter is cooked inside.
