Forgiveness, Church Hurt & Christ 🩷

Being able to forgive is one of the KEY ingredients in any Christian’s life and just anyone’s in general. The hurt is real but Gods love oh so much more. He loves you, seeks the best for you and chooses you time and time again, even though we still make mistakes. Forgiving someone doesn’t = closeness but it does equal letting go of the past in order to guard your own heart. What they did, said or acted like isn’t right, wasn’t your fault, but if you don’t let go of the hurt that will turn into bitterness. Let the Lord fight your battles, trust me it’s worth it. I’ve had times where I fought the battle myself and failed and where I’ve given it to God and He excelled me. Maybe it wasn’t in the moment, but He gave me grace and favor, in which I didn’t deserve. If it’s been freely received then freely give. That is the way our God wants us to live and expect success to live no matter how deep the hurt. He loves you and is cheering you on and in the end you will be healed.
