CROCHET TUTORIAL: Easy Tote Bag Crochet Pattern🌺

In this video you will learn the granny hexagon pattern, and if you make 10 of them you will have a medium tote bag😁

I am using US crochet terms.
Abbreviation chart:
CH – CHAIN STITCH
SC - SINGLE CROCHET
DC - DOUBLE CROCHET
2dcCL - 2 DOUBLE CROCHET CLUSTER
3dcCL - 3 DOUBLE CROCHET CLUSTER
SLST - SLIP STITCH
ST - STITCH

Pattern:
Foundation ring - slipknot and ch 6, slst in first ch to close ring
R1: ch3, 2dcCL into ring, ch2, [3dcCL into ring, ch2] 5 times, join with a slst in the 3rd ch from the start of this row ( 6 clusters total ), fasten off

R2: add second colour with a slst in any 2-ch space between any cluster
ch3, [2dcCL, ch2, 3dcCL] in same ch space, *ch2, [3dcCL, ch2, 3dcCL] in next ch space
repeat from * 4 more times, ch 2, join with a slst in 3rd ch from the start of row ( 12 clusters ) fasten off

R3: join a 3rd colour with a slst in a ch space from prevoius row,
ch3, [ 2dc, ch2, 3dc ] in same space ( this is a corner ), * 3dc in next ch space, [ 3dc, ch2, 3dc ] in next space ( corner ), repeat from * 4 more times, 3dc in next ch space, join with a slst in 3rd ch ( 6 corners total ), don't fasten

R4: continue with same colour, ch1, 1sc in each of next 2 sts, 2sc in next ch space,
*1sc in each 9 sts, 2sc in next ch space, repeat from * 4 more times, 1sc in each of next remaining sts, join with a slst and fasten off.
