From the Archive: Hurricane Ike Wind and Surge in Southeast Texas. Pt.1

KFDM’s Tom Wright produced this documentary after Hurricane Ike slammed into Southeast Texas in September of 2008.

Water rose rapidly along the upper Texas coast, pushing a wall of water more than 18 feet high inland from the quiet bayous of Orange County to the coastal communities on the Bolivar Peninsula.
