​Assalamu Alaykum and welcome to S1E5 of the Sameer OnBoard series! Today, we embark on the ultimate Madinah Ziyarat Tour (مدینہ زیارات), exploring the sacred sites outside of Masjid an-Nabawi. This is a must-watch for anyone interested in the history of Islam!
​We cover an incredible amount of ground today, focusing on the major battlegrounds and historical Masjids:
​Saba'a al-Masajid (سبع مساجد): The famous Seven Mosques, including Masjid al-Fatah (مسجد فتح), the site of the Battle of the Trench (غزوہ خندق / Khandaq) also called Ghazwa al Ahzab. We also visit Ghar-e-Sajda (غار سجدہ) in Jabal Sela.
​Masjid al-Mustarah (مسجد المستراح): The mosque where the Prophet (PBUH) rested after the Battle of Uhud.
​Masjid al-Qiblatain (مسجد قبلتین): The Mosque where the Qibla (prayer direction) was changed.
​Jabal Uhud (جبل احد): Visiting the Martyrs' Cemetery (مقبرہ شہداء احد), the mountain's peak, and the specific spots related to the battle and the Prophet's injury.
​Masjid al-Dhir' (مسجد الدرع): Where the Muslim armies formed before Uhud.
​Bait Fatima Bint Muhammad (بيت فاطمة): The house where Hazrat Fatima (RA) and her blessed sons, Imam Hassan (حسن) and Imam Hussain (حسین), lived.
​Masjid al-Quba (مسجد قبا): The second largest mosque complex in Madinah.
