Chicken Chukka (also called Chicken Sukka in some regions) is a South Indian–style semi-dry chicken dish known for its rich roasted spices, deep caramelized flavor, and aromatic masala coating. The chicken is cooked until tender and then roasted on high heat so the masala becomes thick, slightly crisp, and intensely flavorful. It is especially popular in Tamil Nadu and Kerala cuisine and goes well with parotta, rice, chapati, or dosa.

500 g chicken (with bone or boneless, cut into medium pieces)
¼ tsp turmeric powder

1 tsp red chilli powder

3medium onion,( finely sliced and fried it)

4 tbsp oil

1½ tbsp ginger garlic paste

3 green chillies

Curry leaves

2 tomatoes, chopped


2 tbsp kashmiri chillipowder

1 tsp coriander powder

1 tbsp garam masala

Salt as needed

1 tsp pepper powder

1 tsp fennel seed powder
