在解放战争时期，国民党反动派违背停战协议，发动大规模进攻，目标直指解放区。庄毅（于蓝 饰）作为解放军某部野战医疗队的女队长，受命护送伤员转移。伤员们激情高涨，纷纷要求回归前线与敌人战斗。庄毅成功说服了朱连长（苏苓 饰），带领着同志们开始转移行动。
途中，他们受到敌机的轰炸，庄毅不顾个人安危，全力救治伤员。她自己在这过程中也受了伤，但依然坚持为伤员进行手术，最终成功挽救了他们的生命。庄毅在手术台前倒下，赢得了伤员们的敬佩和感动。她不仅自我学习，还帮助伤员解决思想问题，并培训新的医务工作者。在治疗队同志们的精心照料下，伤员们很快康复，并重新投入到战斗中。

During the War of Liberation, the Kuomintang reactionaries violated the armistice agreement and launched a large-scale offensive aimed at the liberated areas. Zhuang Yi (played by Yu Lan), as the female captain of a field medical team of the People's Liberation Army, was ordered to escort the wounded to be transferred. The wounded were so enthusiastic that they demanded to return to the front line to fight the enemy. Zhuang Yi successfully persuaded Company Commander Zhu (played by Su Ling) and led his comrades to start transferring the action.
On the way, they were bombed by enemy planes, and Zhuang Yi did his best to treat the wounded regardless of his personal safety. She herself was injured in the process, but she persisted in performing surgery on the wounded and ultimately succeeded in saving their lives. Zhuang Yi collapsed in front of the operating table and won the admiration and touching of the wounded. Not only did she educate herself, but she also helped the wounded with their ideological problems and trained new medical workers. Under the careful care of the comrades of the treatment team, the wounded quickly recovered and returned to the fighting.
