झारखंड के पश्चिमी सिंहभूम जिले से मानवता को शर्मसार कर देने वाली एक दर्दनाक घटना सामने आई है। चाईबासा सदर अस्पताल में एक गरीब पिता को अपने चार साल के मासूम बच्चे का शव घर ले जाने के लिए एंबुलेंस नहीं मिली। मजबूर होकर पिता ने अपने बच्चे के शव को एक झोले में रखकर घर तक पहुंचाया। यह घटना राज्य की स्वास्थ्य व्यवस्था पर गंभीर सवाल खड़े करती है।
